Welcome to Simple Feast Catering and Meal Club. At Simple Feast we believe quality service and quality ingredients make for an excellent product. We aim to provide meals made from locally sourced ingredients when possible to your family, delivered at home or work, or for pickup as part of our Meal Club. All you need to do is reheat and serve. Our meals are convenient, healthy, and simple! Let us bring "Our Table to Yours".

Our Team

Jeremie Arsenault - Owner/Operator

Jeremie first began cooking for his large Acadian family of 8 at the age of 12, often trading his daily chores with his siblings so he could be in the kitchen. At the age of 15, he began working in the restaurant industry and soon began to dream of opening his own restaurant. After gaining considerable experience in the food service and events management industry, he began to realize a desire for others to eat healthy and delicious home cooked meals in spite of their busy schedules. The opportunity to launch a food service business came in early 2016 and Simple Feast Catering and Meal Club was born.

Brian Stanton - Executive Chef

Brian is originally from Digby, Nova Scotia, but moved to Charlottetown, PEI to become a student at the Culinary Institute of Canada. He received his diploma in 2011, then obtained his Red Seal in 2012. Brian worked as a sous chef at the Big Orange Lunchbox restaurant, where he also met Jeremie. He moved to the Lucy Maud Dining Room at the Culinary Institute, where he worked as a chef de partie and as part of the culinary banquet team later on. He then picked up to move out west to gain other experiences in Alberta. In early 2016, he was persuaded by Jeremie to come back to PEI to help execute his dream of opening a food service business.

Catering

Simple Feast Catering is available to cater to your specific needs for events. Let us take care of all the details of the food and service so that you can enjoy your event. We offer flexible menu planning for all your needs including plated meals, family style or buffet service. Contact us for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, community events, meetings or in-home catering. Minimum purchase of $250 for offsite event with service, $25 for delivery order (plus cost of delivery).

Meal Club Membership

Simple Feast Meal Club has a membership system that offers specific benefits and discounts. Membership costs are $100 dollars for a year or $60 for 6 months, and gives the following benefits:

  • All members receive a $1 discount on all their meals through the Meal Club and $2 off of their delivery charge if applicable.
  • All members get access to cooler bags and ice packs to keep their meals fresh and cold.
  • All members have access to reusable containers which we will take back with the bag and ice packs when we bring your next order to you. This helps us all reduce waste and the containers are 100% recyclable when finished.
  • All members receive one ticket per 6 month membership to our Annual Community Feast in support of the local food bank. All we ask for is a small monetary or non-perishable donation in return for a Simple Feast catered event at the Farm Centre. Tickets will be available for non-members as well. Event details will be provided in advance of the event.

As a member you do not own the containers, bags or ice packs, just the added level of service with their use. All members receive a $4 total discount for each delivery* of 2 meals by Simple Feast. The more you order, the more you save!

  • *Minimum Delivery Order: $25 + tax
  • Pick up times = Tuesdays and Fridays 3pm to 5pm
  • Delivery Cost = $5 non member, $3 for members
  • Delivery Limits = Within 10km of 420 University Avenue

Applewood Smoked Gouda Shepherd Pie

KJL ground beef, well seasoned and cooked with a beef gravy and mixed vegetables. All smothered in creamy applewood smoked gouda potatoes and topped with ADL old cheddar. Comes with a made in house roll.

Asian Chicken Noodle Bowl (Mild or Spicy)

An Asian-inspired dish with a little kick, or choose its milder version. Julienne vegetables seasoned to perfection with KJL chicken and perfectly cooked rice noodles. Served with our homemade sauce on the side.

Dwalkers Madras Curry (Chicken or Vegeterian)

Dwalker taught our chef Brian how to make this delicious curry with just the right amount of spice and a nice mint chutney. Try this eastern dish with some homemade naan bread with either your choice of chicken or tofu.

Ham and Scalloped Potatoes

Creamy Rollo Bay Holdings russet potatoes, cooked just the right amount of time in ADL cream. Topped with ADL old cheddar and served with The Butcher's Stop smoked ham and a sweet onion sauce. This simple and delicious meal will satisfy your appetite.

Homemade Lasagna with Artisan Bread

Homemade lasagna pasta made fresh to order with KJL lean ground beef and The Butcher's Stop italian sausage. A simple tomato sauce spiced to perfection with ADL mozzarella and cottage cheese. Comes with a made in house roll.

Vegetarian Delight with Corn Salad (Vegeterian or Vegan)

A simple hummus base, topped with two grilled portobello mushrooms and then goat cheese or grilled tofu. We add some grilled peppers, tomatoes, button mushrooms and asparagus, served with a savory corn and bean salad. To be enjoyed warm or cold.

Simple Feast believes that quality ingredients make quality meals. That's why we aim to use local ingredients when possible, from local producers, suppliers and merchants. Simple Feast also believes in supporting other local businesses on Prince Edward Island to help support our economy. In the future we will offer other products from other local businesses to be added to our menu.

Information & Instructions

Container Cleaning instructions

Simple Feast Catering will wash and sanitize all containers for re use upon receiving said containers. We ask that you either dishwasher wash or at least rinse remaining food and let dry before packing in the Cooler Bag for pick up. We will wash and sanitize bags regularly as well.

We remind you that as a member you do not own the containers, bags or ice packs, just the added level of service with their use.

We ask that you leave the previously delivered cooler and containers outside your door for pickup when we deliver your next order.

Heating Instructions

Simple Feast recommends reheating your meals in the oven or on the stove for best results. Meals may also be reheated in the microwave in the containers provided or in a microwave-safe dish or plate. Always remember to reheat food to 165 degrees Celsius as quickly as possible.

Meals must be consumed within 72 hours of delivery.

Asian Chicken Noodle Bowl - Stove: Reheat using a pan until hot, stirring occasionally. Microwave: Microwave on high, uncovered (or with microwave cover) for 2 - 4 minutes, stirring every minute.

Dwalker`s Chicken Madras Curry - Stove: Reheat using a pan until hot, stirring occasionally. Microwave: Microwave on high, uncovered (or with microwave cover) for 2 - 3 minutes or until desired temperature is reached, stirring every minute.

Homemade Lasagna with Artisan Bread - Oven: Preheat oven to 420 degrees Fahrenheit. Place lasagna in a baking dish and bake for 15 - 20 minutes. If desired, place bread in the oven for the last 2 - 4 minutes of baking time. Microwave: Microwave on high, uncovered (or with microwave cover) for 2 - 3 minutes or until desired temperature is reached. If desired, reheat bread for 20 - 30 seconds.
